The extent to which a growing interest in calligraphy can be expressed is eloquent of the figures: the number of visitors is increasing year by year, if the St. Petersburg was attended by 17 000 people, Moscow’s by 30 000 people, thus the Novgorod exhibition saw more than 37 000 visitors.
